At the end of 2021, I embarked on a 365 Photography Project for 2022 as a way to challenge myself creatively. The goal was simple yet profound: to spend at least 30 minutes each day with my camera and capture a single photo. It didn’t have to be extraordinary, but rather a representation of stepping away from the day’s worries and engaging in a quiet dialogue with my camera and surroundings. This project invited me to embrace creativity and encouraged me to let go of perfection.
Each day, I processed the image and paired it with a short journal entry, reflecting on the moment and the thoughts it sparked. Over the year, this daily practice transformed into something much more profound. It opened my eyes to new ideas and subjects, pushed me to see the world differently, and, most importantly, helped me cultivate greater gratitude for documenting the beauty around me. This project taught me so much about myself and reminded me of the power of photography to connect, heal, and inspire.
